Elezar was founded based on the realisation of a significant gap in how organisations utilised threat intelligence to strengthen and facilitate their core mission and decision-making processes. This insight stems from years of expertise in the fields of cyber defense and cyber threat intelligence.

While numerous companies specialise in generating cyber threat intelligence related to adversaries, their tactics, and campaigns; our primary focus lies in delivering professional services on the application of threat intelligence (Threat Informed Defense) and the development of threat intelligence capabilities.

Founder & CEO
Jorell Magtibay is the Founder and CEO of Elezar - a Cyber Security company established after 14 years of working in various sectors such as finance, government, and vendor services. He has led successful cyber blue teams, delivered multi-million-dollar cyber security projects, and developed cyber and threat intelligence capabilities for large enterprises.
He also serves as the consulting CISO for OpusV, a leader in system integration and Managed service provider (MSP) for critical infrastructure in APAC that is expanding globally. Prior Jorell was the Manager of the Cyber Threat Intelligence Team at National Australia Bank (NAB) and contributed to national initiatives led by the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC).

Jorell was the chairman of the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (FSISAC) APAC Threat Intelligence Committee (ATIC) between March 2022 - June 2023 and received the FSISAC's global leader award in 2022 for his work in the financial threat intelligence community.
